- I really enjoy reading great American and British literature. The poetry of Emily Dickinson is some of my favorite, along with the plays of William Shakespeare. I also enjoy American and British history and exploring the relationship of how the history of a certain time period is reflected in the literature from that same period.
The reading of Beowulf was the most interesting point of this section in my opinion. However, I do believe that the historical background was also very important to know and the way the students were taught.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing I learned about the Anglo-Saxon period was the Vikings. The stories and all about them were really cool and even the poems were interesting. They were intense warriors who did what they wanted. I think it would've been cool to have lived back then.
ReplyDeletelearning about the history of early Britain was interesting. The Anglo-Saxon period interested me the most. The battles at the time seemed to be so surprising. I hope learning more about the history of Britain gets better.

ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing i learned about the Anglo-Saxons was reading and learning about Beowulf. I really enjoy action books and movies and that is the main reason i enjoyed it. Beowulf was a very strong and courageous man. I really liked the book but watching the movie brought it all together and made it allot more interesting. That was my favorite thing about the Anglo-Saxons
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting topic we have talked about during the Anglo-Saxons period was the Vikings. The poems we read about life of the Vikings were very entertaining. Also I really enjoyed the riddles. One major reason i really liked the Vikings was they are our mascot.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing I have learned about the Anglo-Saxon period is the story of Beowulf. It was interesting to me because there was a lot of action in the story. The story mostly talks about Beowulf's battles with Grendel, Grendel's mother, and a dragon. There are not many boring parts of the story and that is why, in my opinion, it is the most interesting thing we have learned about the Anglo-saxon period.

ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing that we learned about the Anglo-Saxons was the story of Beowulf. Beowulf was a very brave, strong man. This story is by the far the best I have read in school.
ReplyDeleteThe most intresting thing i learned about the Anglo Saxon Period was Beowulf. I was intrested in Beowulf because he was an epic hero who faught great battles against evil monsters. My favorite battle Beowulf Faught was the battle against Grendal, because he riped his arm off. Beowulf was a great hero and protected a lot of people so that was the most intresting thing about the Anglo Saxon Period.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing i learned was beowulf. He was the heros of the heros. He came to town killed the monsters and left. The coolest part was were he rip Grendal arm off. I think it would have been cool to live back in his day.
